Pop Culture's Effect

Pop culture was a big part of the civil rights movement. Most pop culture artists were African American at the time of the movement. They were sending a message to everyone to help them recognize what was happening to African Americans during the civil rights movement. People realized the problem and started to do something about it. This led to boycotts, protests, and later rights for African Americans in the South and even the North. Today, pop culture is a big part of the society because it sends a powerful message to everyone about what's going on through a song. America is still not perfect and has segregation to a certain point and people are still trying to stop segregation by sending a message to others with songs to start another movement. We could have another civil rights movement today like in 1955-1968 if we really It wouldn't stop all segregation but it would help it to a certain point.

Gaining Rights

Civilians must have rights. In a society if a man does not like the government he will leave or he will change it. Throughout history many men and woman had to stand up and fight for what is right; civil rights. People did many things to get civil rights and many methods were used. Many used violent protest because they were furious but a few tried non-violent protest and that was also very effective. In my opinion the most best method was boycotting something. In 1955 Rosa Park did not give her seat up for a black man and this started the Montgomery boycott. A boycott hit a buisness or government where they really exceed and the boycott makes problems. These changes also made the lives of the people hard. As they were striking or boycotting to get their rights it made there lives harder. People were fired or could not work so they could not provide for their families and themselves. Citizen who fight for there civil rights are among the strongest in their society because they firght for what they believe is right.

THE RIGHTS!!

Rights that all people of a society should have are civil rights. Civil rights are among the most important parts of society, in history if a society when the citizens did not have the same civil rights as others or if they did not have enough there were revolutions. If a man has no power the man has no power. People with no civil rights have little power because others think of them badly and treat them worse because they think they are worse. Civil rights are the fundamentals of a society, if government does not give the people civil rights, the people will not support thr government.
